Toast Rack is one of my favourite breakfast place in London, it is an artisan bakery, coffee shop and café right next to Wandsworth Common. It is slightly off the main strip of coffee shops and retailers, which makes it an even better find.
They sell naturally leavened sourdough and speciality breads that are baked on site, which you also get a little toaster on the side of your table where you can receive unlimited toast and toast it to your preferred and perfected level (what could be better)
They also serve a great selection of delicious fresh breakfasts, lunches and homemade cakes, using organic, locally sourcedingredients, alongside triple-certified coffee and loose leaf teas.
The breakfasts are all super delicious and great portion sizes. I ordered the porridge with mixed berries and honey, honestly one of the best bowls of porridge ever! Definitely needed to have a good work out afterwards to work off all those carbs – but totally worth it!
I think they also open up over the weekends during the evening for in-house or take away sourdough pizzas from our bread oven and delicious homemade burgers.
The closest station in Wandsworth Common, where you simply walk through the park to the other side and walk right for about 5 minutes and I would highly recommend that you make the visit.
