“Remember Remember the 5th of November!”
Bonfire Night is a very English tradition, which is also known as Fireworks‘ Night or Guy Fawkes Night. It dates back to the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when Catholic conspirator Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament and King James I.
Ever since that night, people go out on the 5th of November to local parks or friends houses to set off fireworks and eat toffee apples and enjoy the chilly evenings.
A few friends and I got tickets to the great bonfire evening at Battersea Park which sees hundreds of fireworks set off in the Park around 8:30pm.
It was a great evening and here are some photos/videos from the evening.
