I have recently come across this new drink called Cinnamora.
And as you might guess from the name it is a cinnamon flavoured soft drink.
I read a small amount of information before drinking the drink…. as I am not the biggest cinnamon fan, but through the research and finding the interesting facts about the health benefits of cinnamon I thought that it sounded interested and thought I should give it a go.
The drink contains a particular type of cinnamon called Ceylon Cinnamon which has a significant amount of research suggesting its multiple benefits which include lowering blood sugar levels and helping with bad cholesterol. Cinnamora had designed the drink to be an easy way of incorporating this great type of food into our diets without having to think about it.
‘One bottle of Cinnamora contains approximately 500mg of cinnamon. Because of a link between Cinnamomum Cassia and Coumarins, Cinnamora uses only Cinnamomum Zeylanicum, or Ceylon Cinnamon.’ ‘
With all this great info about the drink, I thought that I had better try it out and see how it tastes….
The packaging tells you to refrigerate and shake before use.
I have to say I was surprised in how tasty the drink was and it was definitely very refreshing, a good alternative to coconut water, especially if you love cinnamon.
It is perfect for the festive season that is coming up and would be great to pop into a mulled wine mix or a rum and cinnamora cocktail!
