SORRY I HAVE BEEN RUBBISH AT POSTING… I HAVE BEEN SUPER BUSY!!
The Bondi to Coogee walk is one of the things that you have to do whilst you are in Sydney.
The walk is between two of Sydney’s most famous beaches with six beautiful beaches in between.
Lily and I caught the bus from Darling Harbour (close to our hostel) to Coogee beach and started the walk from there. The day was amazingly hot and there was not a cloud in sight.
Coogee beach was our first stop, and there are plenty of lovely cafes, restaurants and bars to visit whilst you are there. One of the most popular bars is the Coogee Pavilion which is regularly visited by a lot of my friends.
Clovelly Beach is a small beach which is located between Bronte Beach and Gordon’s Bay on the walk. The entire beach is locked between two rocky ridges that extend like two arms for 300m seaward of the shoreline. This beach is popular for swimmers but it does also look more like a swimming pool than a beach.
This is something that you would definitely not find it England!
It is a quite handy and cheap way of working out… so we thought we would give it a go even though we were not wearing gym gear.
It is fair to say though it was way tooooo hot to be working out in the 30 degrees heat.
As you get closer towards Bondi beach you reach a lovely beachside cemetery which looks out to sea.
Apparently it is one of the most expensive cemeteries in the world…. but it is an absolutely beautiful spot.
WOOO WE MADE IT
and this was then the end of our lovely walk.
But we also caught an amazing seaside yoga class which was in the most amazing location – definitely need to check out one of these.
I would say that the walk was about 2 and a half hours but totally worth it.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the Sydney area.
I know that Sydney is getting pretty chilly at the moment but nice to do on a clear day for a good work out!!
Let me know if you have done the walk and what you thought.
Lots of love
